It’s exchanged to show the value for what you’ve either given or received.
If only it were that easy…
Think about it.
Here’s how we humans interact with money:
We chase it, grasp it, hoard it, and stash it.
We burn through it and let it slip through our fingers.
We flaunt it, are luxurious with it, and become jealous because others have more of it.
We borrow it, sometimes LOTS of it, and then go bankrupt because of it.
We’re stingy with it, secretive about it, and competitive with it.
We can become ashamed by it whether we have it or we don’t.
We invest it, appreciate it, yet still mismanage it.
Money supports our lives, yet it suffocates others when they’re manipulated by it.
Governments inflate it and devalue it.
Those with the Midas touch turn money into gold.
Some of us sell our souls to earn it, while others selflessly resist it in service to humanity.
We accumulate a high net worth when we have it and experience low self-worth when we don’t.
We become dependent on others for it, even entitled and selfish when lavished with it.
Some confidently earn lots of it, while others underestimate their own value.
We are generous with it and philanthropic when we have an abundance of it.
Yet many never seem to have enough of it.
You get the idea.
All of these energies play a role in how you handle your money.
It can get in the way of how money flows in and out of your life.
You can’t always put your finger on why you do these things.
Imagine if you could ease your negative thoughts and behaviors with money, make peace with it, and just let money flow in and out of your life. No attachments necessary.
It’s possible. That’s how a financial coach can help you.
By listening to the challenges you’re facing in handling your money, a financial coach can hear the hidden beliefs that bring up your obstacles to taking charge of your money.
These mindsets create your thoughts about money, which drive your financial actions (both positive and detrimental actions).
You’ll be supported as you examine these thoughts, discover a new approach, and start changing your behaviors with money.
You’ll be coached for 50-minutes every two weeks by phone or video conference.
You won’t be told what to do with your money. You’ll be supported as you discover within yourself what you want to do to improve your relationship with your money, so you can take positive action.
